Neil Davidge

Having cut his teeth in the Bristol music scene, Neil Davidge first met Massive Attack in 1995 and went on to produce and co-write their seminal albums ‘Mezzanine’, ‘100th Window’, and ‘Heligoland’.  Elsewhere, he has worked with the likes of David Bowie, Snoop Dogg, UNKLE, Damon Albarn, Elizabeth Fraser, and Mos Def, as well as releasing his first solo album, ‘Slo Light’, in 2014.

In his guise as a film and TV composer, Neil’s work is just as eclectic, spanning feature film, documentary, drama series, and game music.

Beginning in 2005 with Luc Besson’s Unleashed, a collaboration with Robert Del Naja, his soundtracks include the fourth instalment of the video game franchise Halo, which remains the highest-charting videogame score of all time, the BAFTA award winning Windrush drama Sitting In Limbo, National Geographic’s five-part nature series Earth Moods, Emmy Nominated Trouble The Water, three seasons of the fantasy drama series Britannia, and the limited thriller series The Fear Index, starring Josh Hartnett.

Neil has recently completed the score for the Apple TV+ drama series Criminal Record, starring Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo, co-composed with Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante.
