Henry Rudkins

Henry’s passion for music began from a young age when he started playing drums and guitar, creating a desire to learn the ins and outs of audio engineering.

After graduating from Keele University with 1st class honours in Music Technology and undertaking internships to strengthen his knowledge, this eventually led him to pursue the art of mastering. Before joining AIR, Henry honed his skills at Pitchcraft, where he gained a wealth of experience, including cutting lacquers for vinyl production. His knowledge and attention to detail ensures clients get the very best out of the format. Henry uses a Neumann VMS-80 cutting lathe, modified to allow for half-speed mastering.

Henry has cut releases for artists such as Calvin Harris, Gorillaz, Deep Purple, Rudimental, alt-J, Cian Ducrot, Griff, Florence Road, Arlo Parks, Soft Cell, and Matt Maltese.

Recent projects include Rudimental – Rudim3ntal, KT Tunstall – Eye to the Telescope (20th Anniversary Edition) and Deep Purple – Made In Japan (Super Deluxe Edition).
