Steve Orchard Sound Engineer
Biography
Steve Orchard began his career in 1986 at PRT studios
(formally PYE),
moving to George Martin’s Air Studios in 1988, working in
London and Montserrat.
Steve has a wide and varied experience in recording,
mixing,
programming and more
recently production.
Steve has worked with producers such as George Martin,
Phil
Ramone
, Nigel Godrich, David Arnold and Geoff Emerick and artists
including U2,
Travis, Dido, Goldfrapp, Peter Gabriel and George Michael.
As well as working on numerous film scores including
Charlie & the chocolate factory and Insomnia,
Steve has recorded and mixed original songs for film by
artists such as Sting and John
Williams (Sabrina) which was Golden Globe and Oscar
nominated, Noel Gallagher (X-Files).
Steve also received a Grammy for Bela Fleck’s
album “Perpetual Motion”.
