Nick Wollage Sound Engineer
Biography
Nick Wollage studied music and sound recording at the
University of
Surrey and was awarded the degree of B.Mus (Hons.) in 1991.
After two years training in the studio, he began working as a
freelance engineer specialising in film and T.V music. In 1996
He
joined AIR Lyndhurst and is currently working under AIR
Lyndhurst Management.
Recent film scoring projects include The Bourne Ultimatum (John
Powell), Sleuth (Patrick Doyle), In The Valley Of Elah (Mark
Isham) and Atonement (Dario Marianelli), the last three of which
are pitched against each other for the coveted Golden Lion award
for Best Film at the Venice Film Festival.
In September 2006 Nick had the priviledge of recording a new
string arrangement by Sir George Martin for the original demo
version
of The Beatles "My Guitar Gently Weeps", for use in Cirque du
Soleil's "LOVE", and on the accompanying number one selling
album.
